Many People Have Lost Their Daily Livelihoods Due To Covid Epidemics. The People Who Have Suffered The Most Are Tailors, Barbers, Drivers, Laundresses, Peddlers, Etc. Like the Other States, The Andhra Pradesh State Was Also Not Spared From Losing Its Livelihoods In This Epidemic. That Is Why Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy Has Launched A New Scheme Called The “YSR Jagananna Chedodu Scheme” To Provide Financial Assistance To All The Poor, Barbers, Laundresses, Tailors, And Other Profession’s People Of The State.
With This Assistance, They Will Be Able To Buy Their Household Necessities And Other Necessities For Their Livelihood.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant Must Be A Resident Of Andhra Pradesh State
- Applicants Aged Must Be Below 60 Years
- Applicants Must Be Below The Poverty Line(BPL) And They Should Have A White Ration Card
- Applicants Must Be In The Following Category
- Dhobis (Washermen) Of The State
- Nayee Brahmin (Barbers) Having Their Establishment
- Tailors Belonging To The Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) Category, And Kapu Community

Benefit
The Scheme Will Provide One-Time Financial Assistance Of Rs 10,000 To 2.47 Lakh Beneficiaries Of The State.
Under This Scheme, Financial Assistance Is Provided To 82,347 Rajaks (Laundresses), 38,767 Naya Brahmins (Barbers), And 1.25 Lakh Tailors.
The Second Phase Of The Scheme Was Started In September 2020
